Hi I’m Dave

I got my start in the tattoo industry by the old saying it’s not what you know but who you know. My girlfriend at the time had a brother who owned a shop at Burpengary, so after six months of me hounding her to set up a meeting for me, she finally let up and spoke to him, and I started work / an apprenticship.

After working there for a year or so, I decided to move a bit closer to home (I hadn’t started tattooing yet)

Since then I have been very fortunate to work in a number of different studios and been exposed to a variety of styles & ways of tattooing. I’ve had some great teachers along the way that have all helped me to develop my skills and my love of tattooing.

These days I also paint in acrylics on canvas, usually tattoo related designs.

What I mostly love about tattooing is old school designs with a bit of a twist, I guess you could call it new school. Basically big bold designs that at first glance you can read the tattoo.
